Learning Experience
Overall Experience
The Etobicoke Brighter Futures Coalition (EBFC) plays a crucial role in strengthening community capacity by focusing on family well-being, inclusion, and sustainability. Through my experience analyzing EBFC’s approach, I have identified six key points that highlight its impact, linking them to core principles of community capacity building and course content.
-
Focuses on building strengths rather than addressing deficits.
-
Offers early learning and child development programs to nurture children’s skills.
-
Promotes resilience and capacity building within families and communities (Lohoar et al., 2013).
